Pancakes
Pancakes ingredients
Pancakes are a typical English breakfast dish.
To make them you need the following ingredients:
- Four 00 125 g
- Butter 25 g
- eggs 2
- salt a pinch
- milk 200 g
- sugar 15 g
- baking powder for cakes 6 g
- maple syrup und.
Pancakes instructions
To make the pancakes, first melt the butter over a very low heat, then let it cool.
Meanwhile, separate the egg whites from the yolks: pour the yolks into a bowl and beat them with a hand whisk, then add the melted butter at room temperature and the milk slowly, always continuing to mix with the whisk.
Also add a pinch of salt and whisk the mixture until it is clear.
Add the yeast to the flour and sift everything into the bowl with the yolk mixture.
Stir again to incorporate the powders.
Now whip the egg whites that you have kept aside, gradually pouring in the sugar.
When they are white and frothy, gently incorporate them into the yolk mixture, with movements from the bottom up, to avoid disassembling them. Heat a crepe maker over medium heat or a non-stick frying pan (preferably with a thick bottom) and grease it with very little butter, using kitchen paper to help you.
Pour a ladleful of the mixture into the center of the saucepan. After about 2 minutes, bubbles will begin to appear on the surface, so turn the pancake with a spatula and brown the other side for about half a minute.
Continue like this with the rest of the dough and gradually place the pancakes on a serving plate, stacking them on top of each other; with these doses you will get approximately 12 pancakes. Serve your maple syrup pancakes still warm.
